Unity HealthLink is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to bridging the gaps in healthcare access by connecting underserved communities with resources and support.

Our Mission

Healthcare disparities are a significant issue that is affecting many families and individuals, due to barriers such as lacking insurance or necessary documentation, high medical costs, and inadequate transportation. We believe that healthcare is a fundamental right and should be accessible to everyone, regardless of status, gender, race, or any other factors.

As an organization, Unity HealthLink bridges the gap in healthcare accessibility by providing essential information about available medical resources to our diverse community.

Our Team

Chief Executive Officer

Kyle Nguyen

I’m passionate about making healthcare accessible to everyone, especially those in underserved communities. At Unity HealthLink, I focus on building partnerships that connect people with the resources they need to lead healthier lives.

I’m currently pursuing a degree in biology at the University of California, Riverside, with an expected graduation in 2025. When I’m not studying or working on community initiatives, I enjoy watching shows and spending quality time with my family.

Chief Operation Officer

Mindy Ren

I’m passionate about helping underserved communities access the healthcare and basic needs they deserve. In the past, I’ve volunteered with various clubs focused on addressing homelessness and basic need inadequacy, which deepened my commitment to supporting vulnerable populations. At Unity HealthLink, I’m dedicated to ensuring that those who are often underserved receive the support they need to thrive. In addition to my work with Unity HealthLink, I have gained valuable experience working in multiple healthcare clinics and community-based centers, where I developed a deep understanding of the challenges faced by underserved communities.

I’m currently pursuing a degree in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology at UCLA. Outside of my academic and professional pursuits, I enjoy dancing and listening to music.

Walter Nguyen

Growing up in a low-income household, I experienced firsthand the challenges of living in a community where healthcare was often a secondary concern. This personal experience ignited a passion in me to ensure others in similar situations receive the support and care they deserve.

At the University of California, Riverside, where I am pursuing a degree in Psychology, I am actively involved in medical student organizations dedicated to improving healthcare access for underserved populations. These experiences have strengthened my commitment to addressing health disparities and advocating for equitable care. At Unity HealthLink I am excited to channel my drive and dedication into serving our community working towards ensuring that everyone, regardless of their background, has the opportunity to access quality healthcare.
