Day of Giving 2025

Our team of volunteers were honored to have joined Community Health Systems, Inc. (CHSICA) for their annual Day of Giving event held at their University Community Health Center before Thanksgiving (11/24). This event welcomed various vendors and community members with a shared goal to support local families in need, facing food insecurity during the upcoming holiday season.

Throughout the day, we helped to distribute goodie bags filled with various canned foods, pantry staples, and whole turkeys. Over 300 of these bags were provided to low-income families in the area, ensuring that everyone would be able to enjoy a warm and comforting holiday meal.

We once again would like to extend our gratitude to our partner, Community Health Systems, Inc. for hosting this meaningful event for the community, and to our volunteers, for lending their time and their hands towards delivering a happy Thanksgiving to all.
