CHSICA’s Annual Backpack Event

Unity HealthLink helped hand out backpacks during Back-To-School event hosted by Community Health Systems, Inc. (CHSICA)

 On August 7, Unity HealthLink was proud to participate in a Back-to-School event at the Moreno Valley Family Health Center, organized by Community Health Systems, Inc. This event was a wonderful opportunity for our team to engage with the community, distribute backpacks to students, and support families as they prepare for the upcoming school year.

The event included many vendors, most of which are linked to free access and healthcare. The event was a wonderful opportunity for us to support the work that CHSICA has done for the community.

Throughout the day, we had meaningful conversations about how important access is to each and every family. Handing out backpacks filled with school supplies ensures that children of the community are equipped with the essential supplies to start the new school year.

We once again thank CHSICA for hosting the Annual Backpack Giveaway, the work that they have accomplished is truly impressive.
